Summer is coming to a close, but things are just starting to heat up at Delray Beach Market!

 

Florida’s top foodie destination has been open for a few months now, and we’re really starting to get into the swing of things. 

 

There’s never been a better time to celebrate. Our unique indoor-outdoor market is the perfect place to celebrate a return back to “real” life — back to school, fall sports, and the like. 

 

There’s plenty to do at the market this Labor Day — here are just a few reasons why you should visit! 

Creative Global Cuisines 

It can be hard to please a crowd when it comes to dining choices. One person may prefer plant-based food, another is going keto, and the kids just want ice cream…

 

Happily, Delray Beach Market has something for everyone. We’ve got an upscale roster of food vendors that includes something for any and every appetite. Our unique open-format hall allows for people to order from multiple vendors yet enjoy a meal together.

One popular favorite? County Line Fried Chicken. It’s the perfect intersection of southern soul food meets modern sensibilities. Their signature free-range fried chicken is brined for 36 hours, then dredged in seasoned, stone-ground flour and fried in pure oils. They’ve also got a fully loaded menu of southern sides, and you won’t want to miss dessert… 

 

For adventurous eaters who want to try something a little different, Tekka Bar is a must-visit. This fusion food/bar specializes in handrolls, beer, and sake. They even have nitro matcha green tea!

Get Yourself a Drink 

Labor Day’s a holiday … Raise a glass to toast the end of the summer! We’ve got beer, wine, and cocktails available…

 

There are a number of different spots to grab a drink at Delray Beach Market. 

 

Crazy for craft beer? Make Delray Craft a destination. A huge variety of craft beers are available by the bottle, can, and on draft… 

If you’re more interested in cocktails, definitely hit up Central Bar. Stay cool during the hot last days of summer with a Cucumber Mint Lemonade, made with Ketel One Cucumber Mint Vodka, lemonade, fresh lime juice, English cucumber slices, fresh mint leaves, and prosecco. Or really, go for anything on the menu — their drinks are out of this world! 

 

Both of the aforementioned vendors offer not one but two tremendous happy hours — from 3-6 p.m. then again from 9 p.m. to closing. 

Grab Some Goodies

For example, Nomad Surf Club, is a popular shop for picking up surfing gear and threads. It’s a family-owned business that has been operated locally since 1968.

Over the years, they’ve grown from a tiny 75-square-foot space to a massive expanse of 5,000 square feet.
